Recipe for Beeswax and Mineral Oil Polish

Use the following ratio for mixing Beeswax and Mineral Oil

1 gram of Beeswax for each 5 ml of Mineral Oil

Scaling up, mix 30 grams (1 ounce by weight) of Beeswax with 150 ml (5 fluid ounces) of Mineral Oil.

This will yield about 6 oz of finished polish

Double Boiler Method
Add water to a large skillet and heat

Place Mineral Oil and solid Beeswax in a pot

Place the pot inside the skillet, stirring while to Beeswax melts.

Once that the Beeswax has melted, pour the Mineral Oil/Beeswax mixture into a 6 ounce jam jar or similar container for future use

Apply the mixture to the wooden piece, rubbing it in thoroughly and then buffing, removing the polish but leaving a shine
