Using Google Lens on a PC without a Camera

What is Google Lens and How Can It Be Used on a PC?
Google Lens is commonly used as an app on a smart phone. Since smart phones have a built-in camera, it is a simple matter to use the phone to take a snapshot of what you are trying to identify and then view the image with the Google Lens app.
Though less straightforward, Google Lens can also be used with the PC, MAC or Linux OS so long as you have a way to capture the image.
One way to do this if the image is on your PC is to use the Snipping Tool.
Simultaneously press Windows key + Shift + S keys to activate the Snipping Tool.
Choose Rectangle for the capture area. The image will be saved to the Screenshots subfolder on your Pictures folder.
To change the location, open the settings for the Snipping Tool and specify the desired location.

Once you have captured the image, select Google Chrome as the application to open it as described below

How to activate Google Lens on a PC
In File Explorer, right click on an image
Select Open with Chrome
If Google Chrome isn't listed, browse for it. On my PC, Google Chrome resides at C:/Program Files/Google/Chrome/Application/chrome.exe
